Las botas siempre me acompañan en los meses fríos. Para mí son el complemento perfecto: cómodas y calentitas. Con ellas puedo vestir en plan informal o algo más arreglada si las acompaño con un vestido. Además, me gusta porque son altas -como se llevan esta temporada- pero sin serlo en exceso. Por último, destaco su color. El camel nunca pasa de moda y combina genial con casi toda la gama cromática. Así que como dice la canción de Nancy Sinatra: 'These boots are made for walking'.

Boots always are in my wardrobe in the cold months. For me, they are the perfect accessory: comfortable and warmer. With them, I can dress casual or more elegant. I like my new boots because they're high, which is trend this season, but they aren't too high. Finally, I like the color of them. The camel combines great with everything. So as Nancy Sinatra's song says: 'These Boots Are Made For Walking'.

Dame unas botas y un abrigo. Mis básicos

Había olvidado que tenía estas fotos pendientes de cuando fuí a Londres, así que hoy aprovecho para hablaros de mis básicos en invierno -ya que suelo informaros de qué básicos dicta la moda, pero no de cuáles son más reales para el día a día-. Lo cierto es que sin un buen abrigo y unas botas no sería nada en esta época del año. Aunque aquí me veáis repetir -motivos del peso de la maleta-, para mí, en otoño o invierno, un buen fondo de armario -como suele decirse- es contar con varios abrigos y varias botas, a no ser que no te importe el frío. Al final lo que lleve debajo apenas si se ve, aunque en este caso sí que podéis alguna que otra capa que llevaba bajo ese abrigo.

Qué será lo que tienen las Hunter

Eso es lo que vengo preguntándome desde el invierno pasado. Desde que era pequeña no he vuelto a ponerme unas botas de agua, y no sé si me las pondría, pues me veo mejor con unas botas de vestir, válidas para cualquier ocasión. Quizás si me pusiera unas botas de agua cuando llueve, no me vería bien para determinadas ocasiones que se te pueden presentar a lo largo de todo un día, pero... Pues sí, ese pero es que no sé que tienen las Hunter que las veo distintas a todas las demás. Creo que mi deseo por ellas empezó el año pasado, sobre todo después de vérselas a Rachel McAdams en la película 'Morning Glory'. Las llevaba en una escena en las que tuvo que ir a las afueras de la ciudad por motivos de trabajo, iba vestida en plan casual con sus vaqueros, su blazer y sus Hunter, y me gustó mucho ese toque rústico-campestre-vintage que le daban sus botas.

What is it about Hunter?. That's what I have been wondering since last winter. Since I was little I have not put on water boots, and do not know if I would put them, because I look better with wear boots, valid for any occasion.
